Story & Background

Xavneiros comes from a long line of nobility. From his great-great grandfather to now, his family has ruled Kaderia, the largest kingdom in the region. Despite being born the second child, he is considered to be the next heir. The first born, his sister Adamalia, was taken from a young age, unknown by whom, and never appeared again.

Although he may appear snobby and sometimes uncaring, he is constantly thinking about the responsibity he carries. With his parents gone, he now has to rule over the kingdom alone, having almost to no preparation puts a lot of pressure to him. From time to time, he goes into the nearby capital under disguise, to have a walk and watch his people. Under just a few months he grows sick to the royal life, wishing to escape and spent all his free time in the lively lanes. He does love caring for his people and he is aware enough of the fact that he is too spoilt to live as a peasant, but his need for breaks is evergrowing. Before all that is even a posibility, he has to manage not only the delicate survival of Kaderia from the inside but also the rising tensions with the Hemonim.

He has the support of his adopted brother, who may not be able to rule, but always has insightful advice about the life of the common folk.

The neighbouring kingdom, Hemonim, has been performing passive aggressive actions the past few months. Despite it not being a small kingdom, it always had a problem with agriculture, as most of the land is of poor quality. Thus the kingdom's main priority was always to expand its territory. It used to do that by setting up settling in distant lands, which would still be controlled by the mainland. The reason that changed though was the fact that the economy could not longer support the colonies or even any other travels. With more and more dragons from within the kingdom being able to perform magic naturally, Hemonim royalty decided another way to expand, the traditional way. Their targer being the nearby kingdom of Kaderia. With a big enough army and newfound magic, Hemonim made itself a dangerous force to deal with.

"Beloved brother thee, I dreamt of a good fortune, here I am to give. Brought forth may be drought or might be floods, if embers from clouds of blood begin, I cannot promise you not"
Mosscom greeted Xavneiros using the traditional royal speech, something rare between the brothers. He had excitement in his voice, oppossing to Xavneiros, which looked beyond tired and unhopeful.

"What a bright speech, excited of the future that may rise tomorrow. May it be drought and floods, let it not only be the magics you dreamt. For dragonkind has been used to Earth and her glories, and that magic has escaped the many and hoarded by the few"

"O but let me finish, new king of the flat lands, for what I saw was a blessing, call it magics of an earthly dragon, if you let. I saw the rise of a sphere of material only known to Diety. The sphere rose to sky, the sun overwhelmed, fled and crowned the new sphere the new bringer of life. It rose from the east and blossomed roses of gold. The sphere rose for you and your victory"
