Soft-spoken like most Coatls of the clan, Grigio was ostracized from his monospecies birthclan due to his monochrome scales being seen as a sign of bad luck. After his fourth shed, when his scales failed to develop any coloration, he was sent off, fending for himself. Despite his quiet nature and soft gaze, the Coatl will defend himself or ensure a successful hunt by any means necessary. While he has plenty of experience hunting alone, he is happy to work in a team as well now that he has come to trust his clanmates. He is quick to adapt to any warriors that accompany him, his no-frills fighting style making him an agreeable ally. Grigio has mostly forgiven and nearly forgotten his birthclan, largely due to his love for his new clan. He has an immense appreciation of the traditions and quirks of the cultures of other breeds, and picked up communication with other breeds rapidly. While he came to terms with his ostracization quickly, he struggled as he grew close to the members of Gestalt due to his fears that his birthclan could have been right and his very presence could bring misfortune to his new family. After many months of concern, he finally decided to go to Durble, to see if the diviner could confirm or disprove his fears. Nine of cups. Four of wands. Ten of swords reversed. Was his reading as on the nose as the wheel of fortune? No, but without a doubt, the warrior was comfortable remaining in his new home. |
