Lady of the Moon

______ Curses are more than just tales. They can happen to anyone, whether it be cursed objects or curses that are placed onto individuals. In the case of the one called Lunar, she had been cursed when she was a young hatchling. When playing with her brothers one evening, when they came across a pendant. It was an ugly thing which nearly blended in among the grass. While her brothers laughed at it, she was curious. Curious enough to touch it. When she did, a shiver went up her spine. Curiosity killed the dragon, or in this case, the locket and whatever malevolent force that lay within it, imprisoned her on the moon.

______ The moon is cold like the snow-covered wonderland she came from was. No one could ever find her there. The world looked so small and so beautiful. But as days stretched to weeks, and now even years, she feels so tired, barely able to fly above the desolate landscape. She missed her brothers and her parents...

______ Her brothers had seen her disappear when she touched the pendant. But even as they leapt for it, it dissolved into dust. Though they have searched high and low, they still cannot find it.
