Thistle

Thistle ran away from their clan of birth because of their colours, ashamed of their plainness. They've since been accepted by Clan Haven, and though they hold themself apart from the others they are starting to integrate. Fireweed's arrival and interest in them caused them to start opening up and while they still mourn him they are still an active part of Haven. Their adoptive parents have sacrificed themselves for the good of the Arcanist and they are sad but proud of them.

They tend to take things personally and are easily hurt.

They have found their place in the clan in the most unexpected of ways; they spent their time isolating themself studying from books and foraging for food and have become the clan's herbalist, always ready with herbs to heal and cure and, if needed, harm. They carry their pearl in a sash across their back when foraging.

They returned from foraging in the Tangled Wood one day with thorns wrapped around them; while they have refused to tell anyone what happened, they are still fulfilling their duties well (and with a few more ruined herbs to show for it).

They remain loyal to Anilise, and are one of the few holdouts who have not accepted Myro's leadership. Fortunately for Myro, they are not vindictive, nor inclined to slip poisonous herbs in her meals, but content to distance themself from her and go about their business as they always have.

Myro suspects them to be Shadetouched, but cannot get near enough to verify these suspicions. They are, but was Shadetouched before the crisis, and hasn't changed a great deal since. Most suspect it happened during the Incident with the Thorns, but of course cannot say for sure. The only one who knows the story is Anilise, and Anilise keeps secrets well.

They did not mourn Myro, but have accepted Amelia's leadership more readily on seeing Anilise would not lead the clan again.
