Biography
Species: Pearlcatcher, Skydancer
Colors: Abyss-Azure 1 & 2, Cyan 3
Genes: Pharaoh, Metallic/Saturn, Constellation/Smirch, Firefly
Creator: HorrorDeSmolCat
The Stormy Seas are a group of dragons known for their mysteriousness and ferocity in battle. They hatch up in the clouds above the Tidelord’s domain or down at the seafloor during storms that turn the Sea of a Thousand Currents dark and deadly. These elusive dragons typically only show themselves when the sea is roiling, waters dark under an impending storm. The founders of this group, Storm in particular, only emerge from their cave at the sea’s bottom or home in the clouds in time of desperate need, preferring to keep to themselves for the most part.
Stormy Sea members train for most of their lives among themselves, preparing for the day they’ll be declared ready to venture out of their family’s safe place and serve the Tidelord. This particular group, and many groups that have broken away from this one, are made up of Skydancers and Pearlcatchers. However, there is a few groups that have broken off of this one that consist of dragons not limited to these breeds.
It was mentioned before that this subspecies has a penchant for being mysterious. This is partially due to their colouring and partially due to preferring to keep to themselves. Much like other deep-sea subspecies, the Stormy Seas don’t often like interacting with dragons outside their group. Their colouring allows them to blend in during lightning storms, the phenomenon that helped give them their name, which in turn can help them during battles and their personal quests.
