Biography

Winslow
Crystal Caster
Masked Gryphon Staff Crystal Ball Magi Casting Rod
Beyond the thicket of deeply saturated cattails, black spruce, and daggered sedges in the bogs of Sornieth's wetlands stands a solid cypress with vast strong structured branches metres wide in length and girth. The middle of the tree is consumed with long strings of soggy wet leaves while it's top is balding from the scorch of the mid-day sun. The unmoveable tree is a stand out among the other surrounding trees as it towers over them into the sky and in the dead of the night there's another reason for it standing out - through the thick fog and dense foliage a tiny glow of light can be seen by a watchful eye.

The night air of the wetlands is thick and heavy, dense with moisture and the pungent smell of the stagnant water and saturated vegetation below. On the outskirts of the bog, where little can survive, resides the largest tree in the entire swamp, the cause of its' extreme growth still a mystery to many and with little visitors to this land it stays as such. Hidden well within in the centre of the tree, surrounded by a thick array of leaves and a pearl string of thin mossy vines, is a very small tree house - more shed like than any other structures. A hulking faded gold knocker almost completely blocks a small wooden door, you wouldn't think of it as much more than an oversized decorative piece but loitering around a while you observe movement, as if breathing, from the mass of metal. As your hand reaches to grab the handle the rusted eyes of the obelisk shaped face open, revealing mystically bright emerald eyes peering down at you, a poisonous cloud swirling within them, judging you for a moment the eyes close and after some metallic clunking the door slowly creaks open.

The disproportionate ratios continue as you observe a single large room, much larger than what should be contained in such a small structure, with vastly high ceilings that never seem to reach an end. The space is cluttered with papers, tools and a cauldron resting, upon a decoratively stoned fire pit, bubbles rapidly to the side. There are ancient articles and pictures pinned onto ropes hanging from a large cypress branch that has pierced right through the cabin like interior, the room itself seems to continue on around a bend just beyond the branch, as the room were a large circle. You enter and look up to the articles hanging but before you can read one you are startled by the sudden appearance of a small two headed dragon, grasping onto the branch statuesque, it bright glowing eyes wide and unblinking with a devious smile on both faces. An elaborate belted system holds a large circular crystal on its back, a harsh red glow emanating from the misted ball. You hear an ear piercing shriek that distracts you from the still dragon - turning to your right you see the walls beyond the branch are lined with framed images of spritely fauns, or at least that's what you thought until you see one moving within, banging onto the frame trying to escape. It's then that you realise this is no place for a simple adventurer to wander into, and stumbling backwards you see that the dragon is no longer in it's spot, and the door behind you is firmly locked and unmoveable.
