Biography
Rasik, son of the Wandering Windsong
Whatever the patriarch had done before he met Pardu, it has been lost to the sands of time as he has never mentioned it to anyone. Pardu was staking out a tract of land to call her own when he was racing by, caught up in his clan's hunt when the paleness of her hide and the vibrant flash of her wings completely dazzled him.
Since then he has settled down with her and raised their motley clan, a fierce protector of whatever eggs and hatchlings come to them and the voice of reason to Pardu's heated passion. He doesn't share his mate's sense of fashion, his own more muted and stately, though he keeps their lair as well supplied with foodstuffs as she does. While the two of them would rather wander, forever caught up in the joy and thrill of the hunt, they realize that such a life is not as suitable for their adopted children. Raising their sons to be level-headed to combat their mother's oddities, Rasik finds comfort in sating his wanderlust by passing on his fighting and hunting skills to their children.
While proud of his bloodline, Rasik is always quick to accept new hatchlings and found eggs as his own and raise them alongside his own hatchlings. Even tiny fae are taught the mirror's hunting tricks, though Rasik is often left puzzled with the fact that his adopted fae and tundra children don't share the same love of meat and fish as their new parents.
Well, perhaps one day they'll learn. Until then he can still teach them how to help bring home food for the rest of the clan.
