Nemoni gave little explanation for her arrival in the clan, turning up out of the blue one day with smoke-filled lungs and ash-crusted feet. When the clan was in its infancy, they faced a great deal of trouble from the local wildlife, and many of the dragons that called the lair home had no way to deal with them. The beasts took food, scared the young, wounded the guard. At this point, much of the clan was made up of travelers, barely having settled down before the incursions began -- and though Nemoni was no different in that sense, it became abundantly clear that she was very familiar with the area compared to the other dragons. Whatever had brought her here was unclear, but she had obviously been here for quite some time. Almost singlehandedly, she rallied the clan around her, and set up defenses and deterrents surrounding the camp. Slowly but surely, the incursions slowed and eventually stopped, and Nemoni earned herself a long-standing place in the clan.
