S T O R Y
It began with a theft. A book was missing from the clan library. This isn't so unusual, the clan values reading and independent research. What was strange, was that no one could account for its disappearance. In a few days the volume in question reappeared, only for another to go missing. This continued for several weeks. Finally tired of this mystery Holmes set out to discover the cause. The presence of an unknown hatchling was not so unusual, but Homes had caught her red taloned stealing, but moreover, replacing the books. This hatchling was Liesel, a skydancer far away from the Scarred Wasteland of her birth. What brought her so far from home has never been explained. Needless to say, Liesel was welcomed as an official member of the clan and librarian. Though books do still occasionally go missing, the culprit is always known. Over the years Liesel has earned her place as a valued member of the clan, and her place among its elders. She has had many more mates than is typical, even for a relatively free love clan such as this. What is even more strange is that all of them are known as Rudy. Each of these, rather than developing another name or journeying to another clan, exalted themselves to the Lightweaver. There has been no impression that Liesel either mourns or hates her exalted mates, though her attitude regarding magic has changed somewhat in recent months. Rather than remaining in her library, Liesel has joined Anthypophora and Palilogia in their defense of the clan. |
