Chance. Destiny. Fate. Some believe in a higher power bringing forces together. Gods picking their chosen, or dictating entire lifecycles to their descendants. Some believe in the chaos rather than the illusion of choice. Whatever it may be, the Plaguebringer smiles upon all within her domain. From the many masses that are a part of the Contagion, to the more elite clans that rest within the Wyrmwood, be it fate or by their own actions, everyone has their place, and serves it well.

Some dragons find their whole lives in service to their great gods, or whatever higher being they serve, others, serve wealth and treasure. Dawnfire had always been one to amass a horde, obsessing over every last coin and piece of meat to ensure they were always fully stocked. Having set up their small storefront, it wasn't long until he would cross paths with Ace and in a display on the value and usefulness of the wares, would eventually form a clan together.

The pair would however, do more than simply become a home for passing dragons, but would begin to outfit them as they went along. Some would seek Dawnfire for his strange artifacts, or Ace for her own history as a warrior.

It wouldn't be long until many dragons would join them, some passing through, and others for a lifetime. Eventually word of their feats would meet Sushi, who would eventually train dragons in place of Ace. Some would serve their clan, while others would go off to serve the Plaguebringer herself. But with her hardened training, came also the medical knowledge she brought to ensure all of her new trainees were always in peak condition. Following her, would soon be their armorer and blacksmith Lilith and Pestilence would also take their seat among the others, serving their clan founders, and their deity as they saw fit.

Family is about blood shared. Sometimes its about being born from the same puddle, while for others its about shedding it together. Whatever the reason, be it heritage or found, family is how dragons survive.

Some dragons simply want to collect and horde wares, trading it among others. Some keep shiny things while others obsess over half rotten stuffed animals. Others train their hide and scales to be as strong as they could be, defending their family, or their flight. Everyone has a role in their community, and everyone has a place.

And here, everyone is welcomed.
