There is something deep in the Sea of a Thousand Currents that calls to certain dragons. While most ignore the call--or find themselves unable to travel down to meet it--some dragons manage to find that which calls to them. And whatever it is, down beneath the waves, it changes a dragon forever.

Sunlight Chosen are bright like the tropical coasts they prefer, and easily go from flying above the sea to swimming just below the surface. They keep to shallow, sunlit water, where their excellent eyesight is most effective. They are supremely agile in the water, and dart in and out of coves and reefs trying to find something inside them.

Tidelord's Chosen already of the water element are Purewater, in addition to being Abyssal, Sunlight, or Twilight. Purewater Chosen have a connection to their element that is frighteningly strong, with water bending to their will and emotions even without conscious effort. Their visions are both far more vivid and far more terrifying than those of non-Chosen water dragons.
