The woods. It was all Kayre had ever known. After his mother left him abandoned in the dense trees, claiming there was not enough food in the clan to go around . Kayre knew better now, that his mother was scared of his swirled eyes. Deemed frightening in his born clan, she knew of only one way to fix the 'problem'.

As he grew, hatred began brewing inside of him. How could his own clan, his family do this to him? From then on, he vowed to never leave a hatchling to fend for themselves.

It was just another day in the wood. Kayre had grown weary from lack of prey around his designated hunting area. He was considering moving to a different area of the thick growth, The Behemoth was simply not providing anymore. Questions swirled around his head, wondering what had caused the wood to go almost completely silent...

And then he saw her.
