Origin Story
▬▬▬▬▬▬ Collu was one of the first recruits of the clan: when the progenitor pair had their first nest, the guardian of the pair recruited a coliseum team of foundlings to help provide for mate and brood. Two of those three, Collu and Agmina, went on to become the guardian Krus’s team-mates up to the peak of skill; then, as the clan expanded and roles changed, each of the three settled into their own battle niche; of them, Collu most loves the challenge of battle, and prefers the most difficult enemies available. Battle roles were not the only ones to develop. While Collu was never much for children, Agmina, her Best Beloved, chose to nest fairly often; though still a diligent soldier when the clan needed her to be, Aggie preferred more domestic pursuits, and become a gladiator out of pure necessity. With their separate activities, it took Collu quite a while to realize the extent to which Agmina was being… blackmailed by the progenitor’s mate and guardian’s charge, Chiral-- Collu may never forgive herself for not realizing sooner. She may never forgive Krus, either, for being unable to completely banish the offender, since Chiral for all her cruelty and selfishness is his charge. |

Personality
▬▬▬▬▬▬ For a spiral, Collu is exceedingly proud of her strength; much as she prizes the agility and speed of a spiral and avoids armor to facilitate that power, she takes pleasure others might find disturbing in the crunch and the strike. Though the past can be hazy, she thinks she chose to become a gladiator freely; she certainly would now. She enjoys the more traditional look of gladiators, keeping her scars rather than covering them and embracing the tradition of tattooing one’s accomplishments across one’s skin. Her sword’s name is Dura. Trivia: Collu actually loathes meat. If the clan’s running low on insects, she’s perfectly happy to go out and beat the hell out of some beasclanners and creatures for their foodstock rather than eat meat. |
