Biography

Quote:
And then perhaps the strangest question of them all entered Stanley's head, one he was amazed he hadn't asked himself sooner:

Why is there a voice in my head, dictating everything that I'm doing and thinking?

Now the voice was describing itself being considered by Stanley, who found it particularly strange. I'm dreaming about a voice describing me thinking about how it's describing my thoughts, he thought!

... What, were you expecting an actual dragon here? Or perhaps a more interesting Biography, more alike to the nature of something you might hear while playing The Stanley Parable?

Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it's kind of difficult to make a Fan Dragon out of someone like Your Humble Narrator, who has no physical depiction of any kind.

Though, it's not entirely Impossible.

I've been around long enough to see what fans can do to a character and quite frankly I'm astonished. No matter how many of these so called "humanizations" I've seen, they all look more-or-less identical to one another. Younger, skinnier, give or take certain attributes from their media, as well. Maybe some robotic limbs here, a third eye there, perhaps an eyepatch or some glasses, or a Top Hat, or some sort of Suit.

... Though the suit does sound nice. Classy.

That is to say... These aren't at all bad. Clichés, maybe, but not bad. People have fun with it, designing something for the undesigned, and as time goes on more folk come along with their own uniquely diverse ideas for these characters they love so much, not all of them purely human. And that's where the fun comes in!

I'm quite fond of one I've seen for that Third Eye fellow that just made him a realistic fish. Very funny!

But that's beside the point, because both he and I share a unique dilemma in which we have no description at all! Not one single defining feature other than our voices and personalities, and that's where it gets interesting. We could literally look like anything! Holograms, 2D art, Those curious designs where the head is an object of some sort like a CRT Television, Some sort of odd living electronic glitch, Just Some Old Guy, you name it!

You can't be wrong when there's nothing to tell you you're not right, so have fun with it!

The creator of this dragon would like me to add, however, that they believe me to just Be. Some sort of Reality Bending entity with no physical form. Not that they couldn't think of ways to include the Physical Appearance of this Dragon, which remains un-viewable, to reference The Stanley Parable in some way. My Runes work perfectly to reference the Captions, one of the only visible things of myself through-out The Stanley Parable. As well as my color scheme looking very much like that of The Offices.

Even my Familiar is another reference, though a more recent one, because they thought I'd like more... positive reinforcement after the Skip Button incident.

Which we won't be discussing any further.

... Okay, fine. If you've actually read this far I suppose you deserve a reward of some kind. I do have a Mock Image of what I might look like as a Dragon stored somewhere back here, I might as well share it.
