ZADINI Zombie Slayer

Lingering in a little hut hidden between bamboo and seafroth, Zadini is a hunter. Not of animals, but of those dead dragons still clinging to life. The undead.

Zadini is a very charmed woman, exuding a bubbly enthusiasm in everything she does. She's always talking about something, either to wandering travellers who happen upon her hut, zombies she's about to kill, or just to the air. As such, she can come off as a bit unstable at times. Which she certainly is.

When she does something, she puts her whole self into it. As such, she has had numerous obsessions over her lifetime. Her latest obsession is plushies, both buying and making them. Of the three she has on her person, she made two of them and bought the other at a flea market. They're named Mills, Bobby and Avaracia.

For some reason, the little patch of land between the Wind, Fire and Water territories she's situated in draws conflict to it like moths to a flame. Shadebeasts and indiscriminate hunters just a little bit eastward of her home have piled up a remarkable body count in their crossfire. And as far as she knows, any unburied body over yonder might as well be a zombie once their body hits the floor. Once they're undead, these zombies have a habit of wandering westward- which is when Zadini gets them. She kills them, as much as you can kill the dead, and gives them a proper burial.

She's incredibly enthusiastic about it all, both due to her general excitability and her own moral alignment with her actions. Her thinking is that she's doing right by the families of those who died- they certainly wouldn't want… whatever's happening to these dragons to keep on happening.

And that's the thing about it all. As a devotee to the destruction of the dead, Zadini knows what certain afflictions look like. There's the naturally ressurrected, the shadebound, the Gladekeeper's chosen- all of which seem nothing like the undead from the east. It's magical, sure, but not like the wistful drafts of the Glade or some other deity. It feels forced, like someone shoved magic down the gullets of these corpses. She's sure a journey east would clear things up for her- but it might put her in the way of something powerful.
