About Hibiscus is the second hatchling in Chamomile's 100 Hatchlings Challenge! If you no longer want to keep them, please return to HappyVirus! Out of this clutch of hatchlings, Hibiscus is the most active. She is happy to make connections wherever she goes and delights in the friends she makes. In a pinch, you can always ask Hibiscus for help or for a favor, she'd be more than happy lend a pair of wings, a set of claws, or even a couple of ears to you. As the more courageous hatchling of the clutch, Hibiscus isn't one to hesitate when tackling all the problems that life has to offer. Even when she's feeling apprehensive, she will always lead with her best foot forwards. Although she's much more active than her mother, she doesn't lack in any of her grace. Her mother and father made a dangerous pair, and their fluidity of movement and sharpness of mind is passed down to both her and her sister, Dianthus.

The Mad Mistress May years ago, there was a young dragoness who had fallen deeply and madly in love with a noble's daughter. While this dragoness herself was no noble, she still shamelessly pursued the noble daughter's affections. Day by day, she would never fail to present her love with flower Eventually, through her persistence, she had managed to win the affections of her lover While it took many months still to win the approval of her love's family, they had eventually come around when they realized that her love for their daughter was genuine. Within a year of their courtship they were wed. The ceremony itself held in a grand garden that belonged to a lovely estate her love's parents had built for them. |
The young dragoness, now the proud mistress of the house and loving spouse, had left one evening to travel to the next city over. Her love's birthday was coming up and she sought to pick up a commission she had issued months ago in advance. Gift in hand, she had returned to suffering a ruin. A massive earthquake had reduced her home city to rubble. Few had survived the tragedy, and her beloved was not one of the lucky ones.
It is said that the poor dragoness went mad with grief. Unable to accept her love's demise, she turned to dark methods and wicked magics in hopes of reviving her passed lover, further eroding at her mind and her spirit. It is said that only a shade is all that is left of a once vibrant dragoness, cursed to wander the world until she can be reunited with her love agian.
