Kuan's mate, and certainly not a submissive one. She's the high matriarch of the clan, not in title, but certainly in respect. Everyone knows she's the leader, with the females anyway, and has a great authority; even Snot seems to respect her more than he does his own mate.

The dragon definitely does not take any disrespect from anyone, especially not Kuan. The male tends to get cocky every so often and tries to put Nat 'in her place'... They both end up with fighting scars over it, though tend not to be too angry at each other after; towards the end of their fights it becomes more playful competition than anything...
