Sagoth

"Who says flowers are just for girls?!" An irate voice demands, it's owner's chest puffed out with pride. Not many the had courage to speak to Princess Adelheid in such a coarse manner, but if someone would, it'd be Sagoth. One of the wards taken in by Denmother Fallora at the time of her eldest daughter's birth, he was perhaps the dragon who knew her flippant attitude best.

Staring at her, he smiled. Whilst some would allow the Princess to metaphorically walk over them, Sagoth chose a different approach. After all, he cared not for the dissatisfaction of others. A rule-breaker, conventional defier and perhaps even a pioneer. He liked to see himself as such.

But the answer to his unwavering self-confidence in the face of the Princess' ire was infinitesimally simpler. He liked the way he looked and nobody was going to tell him to stop, not even her.

"It's weird! You're taking away from my appeal!" The Princess bit back, haughtily raising her head up at the much taller Coatl, flapping her wings rapidly so she could meet him at eye-level.

"What a coincidence, I think very much the same of you," he responded dryly, eyes half-lidded. Why did she have to be like this? He thought, mind drifting back to how Adelheid's mother doted on her excessively. He sighed. "Spoiled brat..."

"What was that?" She hissed back.

"I like your hat," he responded cooly.

The Princess seemed to come to an immediately stop. Her eyes widened and a delightful cackle escaped her agape mouth. "Hehe! Yes! That's right Sagoth!! Of course you do!" she proclaimed excitedly, doing a small sommersault in the air before clearing her throat. "I guess your clothes look nice too~" she suddenly changed her tune.

He remained quiet, mouth forming into a small smirk as she circled his head and then flew off in contentment. "What and idiot..." he whispered, eyeing the back of her retreating form. She wasn't even wearing a hat.
