Serphine

Serphine found himself washed up on the outskirts of the clan when a storm struck as he was flying. Once on the ground, the Pearlcatcher found himself aware that he was in another clan's territory and intended on staying to the side, but his ears perked when he heard a peculiar noise. It sounded like a newborn dragon, crying out. He waited for the mother or father's call to calm the little one, but it never came. Unable to sit idle as a newborn wailed, he went towards the sound.

Following the sound, the occasional crash of thunder drowning it out, he found himself by a lair. The scents of other dragons was stale, save for the milky scent of the newborn. He found the babe curled up in the back, wailing with hunger. He couldn't leave the child, so he picked her up and started taking her towards what he hoped was the clan hall, so he could leave her with her people. The baby mewled, hanging from his mouth as he sheltered her with a wing. She was a small Imperial newborn, purple-y silver in color with vibrant purple wings and black extremities. In his head, he accidentally named the child. Blackbriar.

He found her clan, first seeing Vaukereque. Her initial reaction to the intruder was one of malice, but she soon spotted the babe and rushed to his side. Serphine told her of what happened, of finding the abandoned newborn in a cave on the outskirts of the clan territory. Vaukereque's tail thrashed as she claimed she new the parents and brought the two into the heart of the clan. Lavendersong took the baby, promising to mother her, but Serphine couldn't tear himself from the babe and asked to be allowed into the clan to watch over her. After some consultation, Serphine was allowed to stay and he raised Blackbriar as if she was his own.
