Occupation: Shadow magic harvester: Miasma is designed to store and purify shadow magic into its more controlled form.
Hometown: Created in the Black Vein research facility.

Generation after generation of consecutive failures has resulted in this pure form. Miasma; the first success. An android dragon with the capacity to store, refine and redistribute shadow magic without harmful side effects, implosion or degradation. Miasma is a representation of what we’re trying to achieve at The Black Vein.

16 / Frostfall / 4208 (4:12am): Professor Kine Ire successfully calibrated the subject: newborn 379 (now known as Miasma) with the extracted shadow essence. No signs of distress or instability.

28 / Bloom / 4209 (6:27 am): Miasma has successfully purified the Shadow Essence via engineer; Tilly Vie’s installed heart converter. We are calling this new purified version of the shadow essence “Umbra Oil.” Tilly Vie has installed tubing into the backs of Miasma’s eye sockets, the oil should secrete via Miasma’s tear ducts.
06 / Sunhigh / 4209 (2:06 am): scientists have reported a strange, uneasy feeling while working with Miasma. Some report feeling like they’re being watched or that the subject seems to move ever so slightly of its own accord in the corners of their eyes. This is all hypothetical and so we must continue our work.
16 / Frostfall / 4209 (4:12 am): 5 deaths, 16 casualties; Miasma has gone beserk. We’ve successfully contained Miasma in white room b where they’ve been put into a scientifically induced coma. Black oil secretions are still flowing as normal, we must locate the source of this problem.
