Meraki's attack dog
Ever known someone who has no real rhyme or reason to act like they do?
Meet Kateri.
Both of Kateri's parents are long time residents and hold a lot of respect in the lair. Kateri grew up hearing how important they were to the haven and how lucky she was to come from two hard-working and upstanding dragons. She also grew up moving from their dens each weekend since neither of her parents were mated pair and didn't plan on becoming one. Kateri was very loved and doted on by them, this was obvious from the start. It's not like her family situation was the oddest or the most chaotic. It was just not the most grounding.
Kateri has never been the most social kid, this could be attuned to her bogsneak genes. She does, however, have the snappish tendencies that mirrors do. Literally. This girl was a biter as a little one. It was not easy for her to make any friends. Until one day someone saw her sharp teeth and knew they could make them work for her.
Meraki was not put off by Kateri's attitude and, in turn, the young mirror felt a sense of loyalty towards the banescale and her ways of moving through the social crowd like a shark in a school of fish.
Kateri may not be half as devious as Meraki but she is certainly not a dragon you want to get on the bad side of.
If Meraki doesn't like you, neither does Kateri.
