Background
Brought into the convoy at birth, Thaw grew quickly attached to Aurum as someone to look up to and admire, turning the older pearlcatcher into an unknowing role model. Thaw hopes to understand Aurum just as much as he seeks to imitate his positive qualities.

Thaw follows so closely to his role model that he ignores his own capabilities in favour of trying to imitate Aurum's.

Thaw is dead.

Thaw is overwhelmingly friendly, in a softspoken, inviting kind of way. While he's somewhat naive and doesn't yet understand all that the world has to offer, he isn't foolish.
