He always hated his eyes. From when he was a hatchling, constantly losing at hide and seek because of their orange glow, to when his magic manifested as burning flames instead of the cool flow of pure mana. Plagued by insecurity, he had a quiet childhood. While the others would train for battle, he stayed behind. However, he used his time alone to begin a catalogue of supplies the gatherer's collected, organizing and writing it every afternoon. The clan soon realized that the fae had a gift for administration. Given a shiny new job title and a new lease on life, Arcturus began to love himself. Eyes and all. He never speaks of his past life in a fire clan. When with others, he is often withdrawn, but when he has need, he can be quite loud and authoritative. He is most comfortable with his mate, and hatchling friend, Dressida. He was one of the first dragons to become a member of the clan. |
