I wait at the edge taking a deep breath. Life fills me up, and escapes in a single swoop. I stand. Waiting, and waiting. Gears shift, and turn ever so slowly. Like clockwork, it shifts in place. Tick.. tick...

A dragon made of nothing but gears. Named impossible for having the ability to gain consciousness. A worker, with it's battery powered life being fulfilled with orders. One day, zap! Darkness. There seems to have been a defect. A replacement will soon be sent on it's way. Today's success, tomorrows scraps.
