Reinholdt

Reinholdt's scales sizzled as the downpour rolled off his skin, the raindrops, fat as coins, evaporating off of him at the slightest touch. He kept his eyes fixed on the humble tower before him, noticing how its walls shimmered in the storm, its slight glow glancing off of the incoming rain, refracting through a thousand tiny prisms. He believed it must have been harder to spot during clear skies, which were a much more common sight amidst the Sunbeam Ruins.

Perhaps it was fitting, he thought, that a fateful encounter should happen with such dramatic weather.

When he knocked on the door he felt the air grow stagnant, a pressing unease drifting from within the building. The movement he heard inside went still, and he waited before going to knock again.

"I heard you," a voice interrupted, and Reinholdt paused with his claws hovering just over the knocker. "What business does a fireborn have here?"

Reinholdt couldn't help but smile. He'd been told once that he grinned with far too many teeth.

"I'd like your help," He replied, "and I think I have an offer you can't refuse."
