20144.png Banging open the shutters, ready for another day of business, Bonbon noticed 3 smiling faces already looking up at her. With a sigh she shook her head, reprimanding the hatchlings for being out so early. But even so she took the jar out from under the counter and, as she always did, placed one hard candy in each of the hatchling's eager outstretched paws.

Giggling with glee they scampered off, and Bonbon's heart grew lighter as she watched them disappear into the maze of streets that this town was.

The shop that Bonbon ran with her brother, Sherbert, attracted a wide range of customers. But the ones she kept her eye out for were the dejected dragons, walking with their head held low and an air of gloom following them around.

Once she spotted them, she would rush out and press them to try her 'free samples' and, no matter how many times they said they couldn't afford to buy their candy anyway, made sure they had at least one bite. It was sure to brighten up their day.

There was a lot of pain and hardship in this town, but Bonbon and Sherbert were fighting against it day by day, little by little. Hoping to leave the world at least a bit better than where they found it.

She would eventually open a second shop out of Ambermist Keep - by mail order only. Of course her new clan would benefit from the constant creation of sweets and trade between her and her brother's shop.
