Biography
A Typical Morning:
Kinath swatted at the paw poking her non-too-gently in the side, and growled at the Ridgeback intruding in her nest. Cracking open one eye, she noted the faint light of dawn just beginning to break. 'Too early' she grumbled.
She dragged herself out of her comfortable nest anyway, taking care not to disturb Duskgrief, her mate. She didn't need to ask Starlake, who currently resembled one of the Poisonous Toridae she loved to fight, why she was being woken so early. Only a blind dragon would miss Ornithope's large shape moving among the nests of the young adults.
The purple and gold Guardian was abruptly waking her "victims" for the day, chivvying them into wakefulness and sending them to stand under Kinath and Starlake's watchful eyes.
It was going to be another long, and smelly, day in the Mire, Kinath realised. She grabbed her pouches full of healing potions and restoratives from the hollow next to her nest. Toridae, Podids, Kamaitachi, Croakers, Shellions, and Psywurms; all the assorted wildlife of that region were just so much fun to deal with.
At least she didn't have to join the fights. She just had to patch the youngsters up afterwards.
Future genes: Poison/Toxin/Spines
