No one's really sure of what Destiny exactly is. She was born a Banescale, raised in an Arcane lair, but after a mishap with the Forbidden Portal, she gained a few... Peculiar characteristics. Including eye-burning colors, an Arcane mastery, and the ability to speak backwards. Watch out for the tentacles.
