Giallo

A conceited, middle aged dragon who has his own lair nearby the hideout. He stores valuables for Abran's clan and is one of its allies, if one who can be difficult to get along with. Giallo's lair is situated near the top of a cliff and only has one entrance, which he continually guards. If he has to leave in order to hunt the many curses cast on his hoard are sufficient to keep would-be robbers occupied until he returns.

Giallo is an adept spellcaster, specialised in laying magical traps and enchanting objects rather than direct attacks. His Plague magic is limited, which made him a burden in the eyes of his old clan. This caused him to pursue different types of magic. Giallo left his clan to study at one of the collages in the Starfall Islands. Although he was a good student who worked hard, he was avoided by most of the locals. The other students were quick to judge him and blame him whenever anything Plague-related happened, such as a dragon getting sick or food spoiling.

Giallo grew isolated and bitter over being rejected by other dragons wherever he went. He swore off dragon society and set off alone, settling in a barren corner of Dragonhome where he remains to this day.

Giallo eschews contact with others, but occasionally makes exceptions. He'll help his neighbours in exchange for certain foods and treasures, especially storybooks. During the long days in the desert he loves to read fiction to be transported into fantasy worlds.
