It is unclear whether Finrod is a dragon or some kind of apparition. He is rarely seen outside of split second glimpses and in others' peripheral vision. Those who have seen him claim he vanishes if looked at for too long.
Sometimes, when the new moon leaves the pestilent skies dark over the Necrolord Territory, he can be seen with Calia at the mausoleum. Despite the gloomy atmosphere of the place it somehow feels bright and even joyful to those who witness it.
