A fey with a disabled wing and stiff crests, Washington was always an outcast. He'd broken his wing in a fight when he was younger, and it had never healed properly, leaving it permanently disabled and preventing him from flying. Nowadays, he can glide short distances, but true flight is still forever out of reach. Though he grew up surrounded by monotone Fae who used their crests to express themselves, Washington expresses his emotions through his voice. He was born with stiff crests, making communication difficult, so he was quick to learn how to express himself through his voice. Because of this, he tends to be very dramatic with his intonation and verbal emotions, making him annoying to many Fae, but perfectly understandable to Coatls.
