Biography

Snowshoe Rabbit
G A N N O N
the shape in the fog
“go, rabbit. run.”
— — —

—APPEARANCE—

Gannon was reanimated in an… unorthodox fashion. His previous physical form could not support his spirit, so he was placed in the body of an animal. A massive white wolf, capable of transforming into a rolling fog at will.

—HISTORY—

Many moons ago, Gannon was a dragon living in the Tangled Wood, celebrated as a revered hunter. One day, his quarry circled ‘round and he found their roles reversed; it was the hunter, and he was the prey.
His story was a cautionary tale to hatchlings, a warning to avoid becoming overconfident. However, the necromancer who revived him saw it as an opportunity to create something powered by a vengeful prey drive.
When Gannon woke, he was not a dragon, nor was he the mighty snow-colored wolf he appears as now. The beast that took his life so long ago was wreathed in blinding mist, and then it was no more.
Now that he has exacted his revenge, Gannon seeks purpose and challenge. New quarry.

—ASSOCIATIONS—

Fierce warriors, wise mages, crafty rangers. These are the kinds of dragons Krosis raises from the earth. The Lord of Sorrow seeks to restore these creatures to the lives that were cut short, for the tragedy of their loss is too much for him to bear. However, Morokei, Lady of Glory, gravewarden and guardian of the thin space between the spirit and the body, does not make it easy for him. She seeks to preserve the balance between life and death, and the sanctity of the souls that used to reside in the bodies Krosis seeks to resurrect. As a result of their constant battles, the creatures usually return one of two ways; a specter of the being they used to be, only able to interact with the physical world through possession or the aid of a medium, or a new life in a slowly reforming body, with no memory of the person they once were. There are rare beings who are raised successfully, having both the soul and body of the original. Regardless, the creatures that crawl from the earth are strange and powerful.
