BIOGRAPHY
Quick-thinking and smooth-talking, Quietus has a way of swaying other dragons with her words. Excellent at pressuring others during negotiations, she acts as an ambassador of the Refuge. She sticks to Ucherim's side like glue, and essentially speaks for him in most cases; dragons who question are quickly berated by Quietus. The great and sanctified Ucherim will deign to speak when he sees fit, and she merely acts as the vocalization of his will. Belligerent dragons are quickly pushed back into line when reminded that Quietus acts for Ucherim, who himself is a sign of Lightweaver's own blessing. Nothing could possibly be further from the truth than the treacle that spills out of Quietus' mouth, and she knows it. She stands to benefit a great deal from her partnership with Ucherim, and he allows her to do his talking for him as a diplomat; this allows Quietus to rake in hoards upon hoards of treasure for herself. However, she actually cares a great deal for Ucherim, and has complicated feelings towards him; it's easy for her to lie and swindle to get her way, but his eyes seem to peer past that into her very soul, and when the two retire to their lair after a hard day's work, Quietus unmasks herself. She knows that Ucherim is nervous around others, and convinces herself that she's not being selfish; after all, where would Ucherim be without her?

BIOGRAPHY
Manipulative to a fault, Quietus has difficulty holding honest conversations - Ucherim is the only other dragon she regularly speaks with. Most dragons in the Refuge see Quietus as nothing more than Ucherim's assistant during negotiations, which is exactly how Quietus prefers to be perceived. However, upon notice that the two ambassadors would be stationed in the Refuge, Drogwen went to meet them personally. Quietus isn't quite sure, but the Guardian's shrewd eyes seemed to pick up on her act fairly quickly, and her feeble attempts to intimidate Drogwen fell upon deaf ears. Quietus is terrified of the Guardian to this day. While she is admittedly using Ucherim to gain power and status among the Light flight, Quietus relies on him more than she realizes. Quietus is undoubtedly bad at having genuine friendships, having stepped over multiple dragons to even land her position as Ucherim's assistant. The other Spiral is the only dragon Quietus actually speaks to in her free time, and she finds herself relaxing a bit more around him. Still, she remains guarded around him, and is made slightly uncomfortable when she thinks about him for too long.
