Miyu is a curious and bubbly young Dire Kitsune. Despite being far from her home continent of Remnant, she's settling into Traveler's Rest quite nicely. She's full of questions about Sornieth, and will bombard anyone she can find with these questions. It doesn't matter to her if they're actually a citizen of the Rest or not. Dire Kitsune don't have immediate mastery over their portals, and must spend years training in order to use them effectively. Miyu was in her very first training session with her master Sakura when things immediately went wrong for her. She was only supposed to conjure a small, short-range portal, but her intent was off, and she ended up all the way across the ocean in the outskirts of Traveler's Rest. Though lost, alone, and far from home, Miyu bounced back quickly and sought help in the Rest. The citizens had never seen a Kitsune before, but took pity on the lost youngster and agreed to help her find her way home. Months later, Sakura arrived to bring her student home, accompanied by several other Kitsune. But by this time, Miyu had grown attached to the Rest, and pleaded with her master to let her stay. Sakura agreed, and the Kitsune began setting up a small settlement in the Rest. Now that she's back under Sakura's care, Miyu is continuing her portal magic lessons. She's still a little scatterbrained, which leads to her portals going astray, but she hardly ever ends up outside the city anymore. She's glad to be among other Kitsune again, but also enjoys hanging around with the dragons of the Rest. |
