Cold stone underfoot and strangely heavy, humid air. You are in a cave, Small bioluminescent mushrooms are scattered across the walls like stars. You don't know how you got here, or where you're going, just that you need to get out as quickly as possible.

xxxA scratching noise. What was that? You whirl around, listening closely. That had to be a creature. You don't hear anything else but you don’t feel so alone anymore.

xxxAs you turn away, you feel the dread in your chest get heavier. You sit down for a moment, trying to collect your thoughts. You need to think. You need to get out.

xxx"Heya stranger!" A sourceless, voice rings in your head. "Calm down, I'm not here t' hurt you. I need you as much as you need me." In a panic, you jump up and look around. What you thought was a patch of moss begins to skitter across the stone.

xxx"Oh, won't you just listen?" She scolded. A Veilspun... the tiny brown-flecked creature winds across the floor like a snake, green mane and glowing antennae trailing behind her as she nears you. "Surface-dwellers never do as told, its you that will get hurt in the end." She rolled her eyes, coming to a stop in front of you. You can’t breath, the damp air is stifling.

As your mind begins to go fuzzy, the dread you had been feeling loosens its grip on your body, relief flooding in. The Velispun raised a talon to wave at you, a knowing look in her gaze. I didn’t hurt myself… it wasn’t my fault… you think to yourself as your vision began to darken.
