Personality
Was that Lacewing, or just a flash of blue and white? Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference. To the other members of her clan, Lacewing often seems to be more cat than dragon. She seems to have a boundless energy. Often, they’ll see her chasing birds or other small animals around, only to catch and cuddle them. She loves all sorts of creatures, and wouldn’t dream of harming them. She even tries to help bird build their nest, although she’s not very good at it. They usually end up looking more like a mess of twigs and grass than any proper nest.

She’s supposed to serve as a messenger for the clan, but she’s a little too easily distracted. Her messages only get delivered half the time. The other half of the time, she sees a squirrel or shiny object hidden in the grass and ends up chasing after it, completely forgetting the message she was supposed to deliver. If it were anyone else, the clan would be upset, but Lacewing is just so sweet and earnest it’s impossible to really dislike her. It’s clear that she does feel bad when she forgets things. If someone reminds her of a message or package she forgot to deliver, she’ll apologize profusely and offer to make up for it any way she can. She knows she can be a bit of a scatterbrain.

History
Most of the other dragons get along well with her. In particular, she likes to talk to Poseidon and Froydis. Some of them haven’t really warmed up to her yet, however. More serious dragons like Elaenaril and Reaver tend to find her a little grating, and prefer to avoid or ignore Lacewing. She tries not to take their rejection to heart, although it does disappoint her a little. She really just wants to be liked by the other dragons in her clan. There’s nothing more important to her than good friends.
