Chocolate considers herself to be a dragon of quality, one with a taste for only the finer things in life. Emphasis on taste; she takes pride in being a "connoisseur" of all things food and drink. She can often be found in the mess hall, critiquing any delicacies that Sweetcake has whipped up. Far less often does anyone ever request this feedback, but that hasn't deterred her yet.

If there's anything that does undermine Chocolate's sense of refined taste, it would be Cherry's lack thereof. Cherry isn't one to bother with all that complication. If there's food in front of her, she eats it. Quickly. She doesn't care what it is, as long as it's edible, she'll pack it away as fast as she can. To her, food is food, and if she doesn't eat it, someone else will. Even when that someone else is Chocolate, Cherry finds that she takes far to long.

Whether their hedonism is qualitative or quantitative, it doesn't change the fact that Chocolate and Cherry consume a lot of food on a daily basis. Sometimes, it's actually enough to make them feel sick, though Chocolate will be more likely to bemoan it than Cherry. Regardless of their different approaches to the matter of eating, there is one thing they can agree on: they are not lazy. It takes a lot of time and effort to eat as much as they do!
