Originally born of the Lightning flight,he was taken in by the founder of the clan after being found on a hunting expedition.After sneaking away from his clan to explore he found himself lost which almost led to him starving.Luckily Banshee took pity on him and brought him to live amongst her fledgling clan.Despite her moving on to serve a higher purpose he considers himself forever in debt to her and her mate Litch.Now a days he's one of the last of the original members of the clan,this makes him highly a highly respected mage.He prefers to stay close to the lair and converse with the remaining original members.

Apperal:Barbossa wears a scarf and tail feathers and refuses to get rid of them since they were a gift from Banshee and Litch.As he made the legband himself,he also refuses to part with it.He considers these to be his prized possessions.

Personality:While Barbossa is a shut in,he enjoys helping others.Crafting and building are things that he takes pride in and he has even taken the position of the clan's craftsman.He has a strong sense of honor and has had difficulties adjusting to change.Despite this he is a logical,attentive dragon.

Familiar:He simply calls him Emerald.

Relationships:Barbossa has had a few short relationships.One with the now gone Zaraphaye, and one with Nearah.While most of his children have also left,he remains protective of his remaining regardless of their age.
