let's get some hc's in here:

-he has complete heterochromia (right eye is brown, left is blue)

-honestly this is just my personal design choice bc i'm p sure this isn't actually possible irl but his brown eye has intense orange accents on the bottom half (blue one just fades to pale blue)

-he has freckles! :D

-his hair is actually wavy but he gels it

-he is deffo birom/demi because i have this somewhat stupid hc that every lawyer in AA is acespec (taking *ace* attorney literally lol)

-he probably had a small crush on miles when they were kids bc let's be real this man wouldn't be chasing someone for 15 years if he wasn't at least a *little* in love with them

-speaking of romantic love and whatnot, this man deffo has trust issues (esp in romantic relationships) bc of dahlia (screw dahlia)

-oh and guess what the one crush he actually trusted now reinforced his fear of abandonment with his poorly worded note and unexplained absence! yay miles (why)

-happier hc time: phoenix is a cat person (deffo not bc they remind him of miles ahaha what gave you THAT idea? ^^')

-phoenix is probably a simp for tsunderes ngl (he just loves chasing ppl ig idk)

-the man cannot use tech. literally a boomer when it comes to computers (why he still got a nokia in 2019 bruh)

-he probably has adhd

-probably is a god at origami (and tried to teach miles when they were kids but miles does *not* have the patience for that)

-he's also prolly good at singing bc let's be honest he's 100% a theatre kid

-speaking of theatre, he's had to use his acting skills many, *many* times (it's also why he's so good at bluffing, both in court and in poker)

-ironically he SUCKS at musical instruments and cannot, for the life of him, play them (even tho miles has tried helping him on multiple occasions)

-probably a jack-of-all-trades kinda kid in school; not really excellent at any one thing but decent/passable at all subjects (except art but there's rarely longterm classes dedicated to that unless you're in college or maybe secondary school if you're lucky, so it doesn't count)

-probably fell for the "free ingame currency/items" scams as a kid (and promptly steered clear of tech after that, hence his abysmal skills with it)

-he would probably be a god at digital art though (wow the ONE THING he can do on tech *eyeroll* /lh)

-ngl i think he'd either love or hate science and there's no in between (prolly hated it tho)

-honestly i don't think he'd get a more intense crush on miles until probably like, the middle of the first game's events (like it'd still be there beforehand, just very mild and more of residual unresolved feelings from childhood than an actual crush)
