Deep beneath the bleak stone of Dragonhome, magic festers - old, untamed, feral. It's tendrils reach without gentleness, warping the ancient bones into something new, something alive. Lacewing has seen it happen before his very eyes. He's seen it happen to his own limbs. Born out of am impression fossil, Lacewing has no recollection of his ancient past. yet, a longing grows in his tiny lungs - for a more lush and less empty Dragonhome.

The living fossil wandered the Earth lands for many centuries before he saw the encroaching Wandering Contagion with his own eyes - and a thought struck him; of how alive and new Dragonhome would be if covered by these organic growths. And so, Lacewing sought out dragons of Plague and joined with Undying Scavengers to do just that - grow the contagion and bring more Earth dragons to his side.
