Snekerdoodle

So baby, she's so very baby. Dumb baby. Absolute dunce. Complete and utter moron. God i lov my baby. Negative two brain cells. The whole of her species shares a brain cell and I'm not sure she's ever been allowed to borrow it. Sweet tiny baby. So cute, so little. Dummy baby. Is baby.


Anyway, some info about her; Snekerdoodle is a dumb tiny baby western/plains hognose snake, Heterodon nasicus. She's technically mildly venomous, but her venom is about as bad as a bee sting, and you would have to let her chew on you for a while in order to actually get envenomated. Either way, she's never even tried to bite anyone, though she does hiss and "bluff strike" sometimes when I reach into her enclosure to take her out. Bluff striking is what it's called when she does the strike motion like she's going to bite, but doesn't actually open her mouth. It's more like an angry boop. Immediately calms down as soon as she's out though. Her nose looks like that because she's a burrowing species, it's a shovel on her snoot! She's about 2 and a half feet long and 3 years old; females tend to max out at 3ft, while males max at 2ft or less.
