Glory be to the guardians of the bones, those that stand side to side with the shadow and stare it down. Khalida was the first, the strongest, the plinth on which Nalrug’s plan can rest. And she relishes that fact with the zeal of the warrior she is. Found by Nalrug on the outskirts of Iota’s influence, she had been stalking the space in between the glittering trees of the Starwood Strand, eyes sparkling with shadow and ambition while she observed the extolled warriors of the matriarch. She was jealous of their blatant ferocity, jealous of their purpose and their battle hardened outlook on the world they inhabited. There were dark whispers in her mind that she would never taste such purpose…but Nalrug proved her wrong. She is now the staunch guardian of the rune carved stones that mark the entrance to the graveyard, in charge of those that come in and those that tend the stones. While Nalrug and his students study the energies that ripple in their bones and flesh, she makes sure that the other imbeciles of the factions don’t get too close.
