Biography
Paolo was born a sickly dragonet, with pale, dull scales.
He couldn't go outside, and couldn't gather the strength to fly, so he found refuge in art. Hours upon hours stuck inside turned him into an amazing artist, who loved to draw things for the other hatchlings. He loved colours most of all, and hated that he looked so dull and unimpressive.
So, he made himself colourful. Using his beloved brushes, he covered his scales with a myriad of colours, and could finally be confident in how he looked.
He met a Tundra called Fuco, who had a focal condition. Fuco was on a transfer to Sanctuary in the hopes Tangerine could find a cure for his thin, scrappy fur. The two immediately became friends, and Paolo finally had someone who knew how he felt. But miracle came all too soon. Tangerine had found a way to fix Fuco's condition, and it was time for him to go home. Paolo was devastated. As a parting gift, he painted Fuco's fur for him, in all the beautiful colours of their friendship.
The two remain close friends, exchanging regular crows.
As he grew into his late teens, he became stronger and lived a relatively normal life. He still needs to be careful of diseases and viruses, but his love for art never left him.
He often uses his tail to paint, when there is a lack of paintbrush, or if he wants more precise brushstrokes.
He met a coatl called Bud, who he wants to live the rest of his life with, and hopes to, one day, share his love for art with their children.
