Biography

Argentavis, nicknamed "Gentle" by very close friends and "Argent" (silver) by people who know him, has an interesting array of hobbies. For one- and the one he's most known for- is that he runs and owns a quaint bookshop by the pier, a cozy little nook nestled between other wooden buildings which carries a hanging side next to the door, reading " Seaside Books; The bookstore with the sense to be open all night". There's no better time to read than by night, in Argent's opinion.
When he's not tending to his books and making sure the covers, shelves and pages are waterproofed, Argent is out fishing. This is his second hobby, and the one that surprises everyone the most out of anything he tells them. He's always up at night in his store anyway, so why not fish during the day? According to him, the second best thing to do is to spend all day in the cool waters while the sun is up (to combat the heat, no matter the season- yes, even winter). He's particularly good with a spear, which he says is "just a bigger version of a writing quill".
Argent's books, as mentioned prior, are waterproofed. For obvious reasons. However HOW he does it is a method exclusive (as far as anyone's aware) to him. You see, Argent's body has a special gene, one which makes him more "goopy" than the rest of his peers. This substance he uses as his own special waterproof lacquer, and it is completely harmless to paper and leather. It's funny seeing him paint this pale purple jelly onto books, but it's part of the charm of his store. It makes it unique. (Note, the books "absorb" this substance and do not remain purple once it has dried. For all intents and purposes they look untouched and new)
When in dim lightning (such as the night hours of his shop) you can easily tell if he's in his store by the soft blue glow emitting from inside the windows, thanks to his runes gene. During the day, if you want to find him, however, you better pay attention to the front door. Chances are, there'll be a wooden sign with glowing blue writing which says " Out fishing! Be back when needed :) ". No one really knows what "when needed" means, considering he RUNS the store, and that implies he's always needed when a customer arrives...
