Joy and Mirth
Was all we desired
But our siblings of old
Were all very sour
They laughed quite cruelly
Whenever we pranced & played
So we left in tears
For many years we hid
But not with those so sour
Who had been hidden by the mother herself
We traveled under cloak & hood
Until today
We joined the world again
but our heart still ached.

We have met a troupe
A group of those jolly & kind
On a trip from there clan
To delight & amuse all of our dragonkind
So we joined this jolly troupe
we traveled with them
Back to there clan
To our new home
And how kind it is
To us, filled with joy
Hearts on our sleeves
We could never handle the cruelty of those
Who we were bounded to by ancient magic untold.
