Known affectionately as the gentle barbarian by his mate Pagan and others close to him, Arvense may seem contradictory to many at first glance. He has a penchant for rescuing stray eggs and dedicates much of his time to protecting the nests of Coterie as well as occasionally assisting Calhoun with the gardens in pollination duties.

Nothing irritates Arvense more, though, than those that underestimate his compassion for complacency. The fae will not hesitate to use his poisons to eliminate intruders of the nests or those threatening to upset the natural world.
