Growing up without a father, Wave had little to no idea how to grow up as a Guardian dragon. His mother an Obelisk dragon could do little to help him, not that she cared. His mother had very clear ideas of what she wanted in a child, though little in a mate. So she hopped around, dragging Wave with her. Wanting for once in his life to prove himself worthy of her, Wave ran off into the wide world on his own, only taking with him a yellow bandana…

First day into the EverBloom Gardens and Wave already got himself into trouble. He accidentally wandered into three different territories via swimming. Having enough at the third, Wave lunched an attack at the green dragon defending the Gardens…only to get his tail handed to him by a red Guardian. Somehow, by the grace of who knows who, Wave was let go as he clearly no idea where he was. At the end of the first day, the three clans that he angered sent him to Jade's Hope clan, the very clan that whooped his tail.

Surprisingly, the clan took him in, though clear that he couldn't pull off any trouble around them. Relieved to be on his feet and not on the ground, Wave agreed to these terms.

Shortly after, his whole world was turned upside down again by the Jade's Hope clan. They taught him that he creates his own future and boy does his choices matter. It was his own choices that ended up with him separated from his mother and birth clan, estranged in both distance and heart. But it was also his decisions that could chance his future for the better. Stepping up, Wave set aside his wild ways and joined the Jade's Hope clan for real, taking upon the name Crashing Wave.

After many months of training with Burning Coal, Crashing Wave's lessons finally take root. At the clan's Nesting grounds, the young Guardian has found his purpose and Charge, protecting the Nesting Grounds from all who would desecrate them. Now that Crashing Wave knows who he is, he can finally write his own future by safeguarding the clan's future.
