Apoptosis was a great hunter. No- he was fantastic! He stared at his latest quarry. A Noggle corpse left to rot in the harsh foggy sky of Plague. Tch tch. He clicked his right tongue in disappointment. Who would leave such a noble prize behind? His left and right heads bumped together in collision as they delighted in examining the remains and Apoptosis told himself to get his act together. After what seemed like a comfortable amount of time, he collected his findings and flew back to his den. They needed cleaning of course, but the bones from the specimen were finely mutated in only the ways bones from a plague animal would be. The aberration begun quick and rigorously practiced work on doing such. Ah! A marvel! How he pitied the other flights. Even his hatch flight - lightning - all the animals and dragons were painfully similar. He appreciated the collectors of those biomes though. Their commitment to knowing the subtle differences of the bones as admirable. But it was not for him. Apoptosis proudly held his newest sculpture up to the midday light. Or moonlight. Honestly in plague it was hard to tell. A perpetual smog coated some of the areas no matter what time. Unfortunately for him (or fortunately? Maybe he didn't want to know how late it was…) he couldn't tell. Nonetheless the aberration admired his findings, and his work at reconstructing it. Yes. This was going to look lovely next to his Sphinx recreation. Or maybe just above his hearth in the living room? Either way the aberration mentally placed aside his job of finding a spot for this project and prepped himself to begin hunting for his next one. If there was anything he learned as an Aberration it was that one could never have too many bones after all!
thanks to Abysea (#137206) for this amazing take on Apoptosis!
