Virtue smiled at her parent's portrait, set lovingly upon her custom desk. The slow day made it easy for Aster and her to reminisce. It hadn't mattered to her or her clan, so she never truly knew why some visiting ambassadors always made comments.
Who cares if she was adopted or breed changed? Why did her being an Aberration matter to how the clan ran itself or interacted with others? A queen and her consort had no time for petty things like their hatchling's appearance! If it made Virtue (and Aster) happy, that was what mattered.
In any case, Virtue was proud of being a princess, of course, but she knew she had been meant for more and dedicated her attentions towards her own improvement. This lead to her discovering a deep passion for law and justice. Inequality and oppression ignite a deep fury in her breast; the long fangs in her mane lengthening like a bristling porcupine. Aster had been right by her side the whole way, both of them determined to prove themselves by merit of their skill and knowledge, not any possible nepotism!
Dedicating herself to her passion, Virtue worked alongside the clan guard for years, learning all she could before moving to other clans and adding onto her growing reputation. She joined the Godhunters as an elite guard for the Levels.
In charge of interrogation, the pair are ruthless and exacting. Every bit the haughty and well-educated officer of law you'd expect, but in such a childish, innocent-looking package!
