Information
Nannette is most certainly an older dragon, one of the few old enough to remember the times before the lords were united. Back then, the garden was in a sorry state, rotting and decaying with few fresh bones to feed it. Far too much did the lords of the time busy themselves in their petty squabbles, unwilling or unable to give the garden the proper thanks it deserved for taking care of them their whole lives.
That is why, when the Evermore rose to power and dragged the other lords kicking and screaming into the fold, Nannette instead chose to pledge her allegiance to the newly formed council rather than fight against it. Though her power was much weaker at the time, she slowly drew the full attention of the council to the garden which sat in disrepair and found a joy she had never known before in their immediate response to the situation, quickly tending to the wilting thing and placing Nannette herself in charge of it's care.
Now, after a couple centuries of hard work, she found herself naturally placed into the council itself, her power over the Garden of Bones making her one of the most powerful of her kind. Better yet, she has become a favoured of the Evermore himself, being one of the few able to fully grasp his vision of the Deathless Lands in full. Such a grand attention may inevitably warrant envy in those wishing to ascend the ranks- but Nannette has not survived so long by being helpless.
